Course Overview:
This three-day course provides an overview of developments in the evolution of trade finance beyond the realm of ‘traditional’ products, to the fast-growing and increasingly important area of supply chain finance. The seminar links both traditional products and supply chain solutions by considering the treatment of four ‘pillars’ of trade finance. Given that supply chain finance is still evolving, this course considers the value proposition around supply chain finance programs, and offers a view of the future of supply chain finance in the broader context of trade finance and transaction banking. This course is designed to present selected trends, practices and developments in trade and supply chain finance.
This 3-days training course offers an in-depth view of all aspects of supply chain finance. By attending this practical course you will gain:
- An understanding of the evolution of traditional trade finance and the shift to encompass supply chain finance.
- An overview of the state of the supply chain finance value proposition in various selected markets.
