Course dates
Described by many commentators as the most stringent anti-corruption law in the world, The Bribery Act came into force on 1 July 2011.
This course will examine in detail the impact The Bribery Act will have on both individuals and corporate entities, and will examine in detail the offences covered by the Act.
By attending, you will gain a complete understanding of the processes and procedures that need to be in place.
The Act puts significant pressure on corporate entities doing business in the UK to ensure they have compliant anti-corruption procedures in place. Described as the “FCPA on Steroids”, the Act goes much further than the US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), also covered during the course, in covering as it does corruption between commercial entities.
Further, where the FCPA distinguishes between bribery and facilitation payments, the Bribery Act does not.
This is an essential training course that you cannot afford to miss.
